UPDATE: RACE FOR THE EUROPEAN GOLDEN SHOW

With the season gradually coming to an end, the race for the league titles has continued to hot up. The English Premier League title is looking very likely to go to the Etihad this season. It's looking to be a rat race that will go down the wire toward the end of the season, with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona all vying for the same cause.

In Germany, the tradition of Bayern Munich clinching the league title looks set to continue and in France, Lyon seem like they will battle Paris Saint-Germain for the Ligue 1 title. Another European race that is set to hot up toward the end of the season is the European Golden Shoe race with a host of attackers looking to end the season on a high by clinching the highly-rated individual award

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé, Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski, and Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva are among Europe's prolific goalscorer this season vying for the prestigious award and they all will be looking to clinch the gong at the end of the current campaign.

Lewandowski is currently the favorite to clinch the award after enjoying yet another blistering campaign at the Allianz Arena. However, he is being chased closely by Ronaldo, Messi, Haaland, and Mbappé for the prize. Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland is also a likely candidate for the award after an emphatic season he's having for his team.
